Maami Cooks : Chilli Cheese Toast



Rustling up a quick snack isn’t cooking, its snacking! When its chilli cheese toast (yummm) its’s an essential of life 🙂


  1. Bread
  2. Butter/Cheese spread – I used Nutrelex here
  3. Red chilli flakes
  4. Oregano (totally optional)
  5. Cheese (I used shredded cheddar)
  6. Onion & capsicum – diced into small pieces
  7. Spring onion (totally optional)

How to

  1. Toast the bread
  2. Drop a dollop of butter/cheese spread/Nutrelex
  3. Add a dash of red chilli flakes on it (skip this step if you want it mild, I like my toast spicy)
  4. Spread the mixture
  5. Add cut/diced onions, capsicum amd spring onion
  6. Sprinkle (generously) with the cheese
  7. Microwave on high for 15-20 seconds
  8. Sprinkle the oregano
  9. Eat it….LOL!

Wasn’t that easy??
